This video is so touching. Many kids who live in the city have the latest forms of technology and basically whatever they want to eat when they get home and yet, they still complain that their lives are imperfect.I am lucky that I have a nice house, food, water and everything else in my life right now. Some people are so ungrateful for what they have when people in Africa are suffering and dying from starvation.I was somewhat like that when I was a little kid but now that I'm older I understand.
This video does does have alot of meaning. Many kids are very fortunate to have a house to live in, to have meals everyday, to get a good education. On the otherhand, kids living in poor countries, such as Africa, don't have any of this. I think some of us don't realize how lucky we truely are, and we take advantage of it. When kids get more and more things, they want more. I REALLY wish we can end proverty, and everyone can have a house and food to eat everyday. =/
There's no adversity to overcome in places like America, which I think is actually part of the reason teen depression/suicide continues to grow here. Material possessions won't fill the hole in your life.
soon as you realize that, its kind of funny that people even think it would....its a thing. being a messed up person with lots of stuff is a messed up person with lots of stuff. whereever you go, there you are.
Spoiled as many suburban kids in places like America are, happiness still is not limited to socio-economic status. I find it ironic that the same people who accuse youth in America of being materialistic consider the bloated/empty consumer lifestyle inherently better than that of 3rd-world countries on account of wealth/material possessions.
1) im not hard as rock, believe it or not, lol, this does affect me when i see poor kids like this
2) wat is the meaning which i dont see? that there are poor children? no shit, everybody knos that and it is sad
3) this video isnt just saying that there are rly poor kids who need help, if it did i would have no problem, what this video is doing is saying that all teenagers are spoiled, i am happy i have food, i am happy i have water, i am happy i have rights, so why is this video attacking me?
